Our journey with Wanda at New York Life 

In 2018 as my wife and I became concerned that our previous financial advisor was not going to get us to our retirement goals we started to look for other sources. In that process we made a call to New York Life and was connected with Wanda Bastert.

We had a lot of questions and concerns about how we could make changes to our current investments and find a path to retirement especially at our retirement age approaching soon.  We met with Wanda and was soon on our way. My wife and I both felt very comfortable talking to Wanda about our situation and never felt pressured to make a decision.

Since that time she has always answered my calls,e-mails, or texts in a timely manner and provided a resolution to our questions. She has met with us on several occasions and always had great options for us to consider in our plans for retirement.

I will close in saying that my wife and I are both retired now and honestly don't know if we could have without the help and guidance from Wanda.  She has very patiently and professionaly guided us to this point.

I have worked with Wanda on formulating my savings, investing and retirement planning. Wanda has provided me very sound guidance on how to craft strategies pertaining to my TSP, Roth IRA, and savings accounts that has allowed me greater control over risk exposure in my accounts.
